Swale Construction to Canal 1

A swale has been constructed to redirect surface water runoff into Canal 1, enhancing drainage efficiency in the area. This measure is intended to:

  • Improve water flow during heavy rain events
  • Prevent standing water and localized flooding
  • Support stormwater management and environmental compliance

The swale was designed to follow natural grade and ensure proper slope toward Canal 1, allowing consistent water conveyance while minimizing erosion. The project aligns with the district’s efforts to maintain optimal canal functionality and protect surrounding properties.
